MANDATORY COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT FROM HKUST
HKUST places the health, safety and wellbeing of students and the campus community at high priority. COVID-19 vaccines are effective at protecting students and our community from COVID-19, especially from severe illness and death.
All inbound exchange students must have completed a full course of COVID-19 vaccination. We believe that unvaccinated students traveling abroad put themselves at a higher risk of getting COVID-19 and a higher risk of developing severe illness or death resulting from COVID-19. As such, there are no exceptions granted under any situation.
CURRENT ARRANGEMENT AT HKUST
To help reduce the spread of virus, the University has implemented campus hygiene measures to protect members of the HKUST community. Other precautionary measures and special arrangements can be found at COVID-19 Info @HKUST.
Policies and arrangements may change at any time in response to the development of pandemic. Should there be any changes to the program delivery, we will inform exchange partners as soon as we can.
QUARANTINE ARRANGEMENT FOR INBOUND TRAVEL TO HONG KONG
If you are required to undergo compulsory quarantine by HKSAR Government, you will need to make your own arrangement to complete the compulsory quarantine before checking in the student halls.
As the local and global situation could change rapidly, you are strongly advised to review the latest travel restrictions and/or quarantine arrangements at HKSAR Government website regularly.
